Honestly totally shocked by the negative reviews. Reading through all of the reviews it's like everyone is talking about two totally different places. We, like the other 5-star reviewers, had an experience there for which we're very grateful. Our dog had been suffering with epilepsy, and it turns out, despite being a patient at a top rated vet practice in our town, was not being treated properly. The vets he saw were nice, but didn't understand current approaches in epilepsy care. The neurologist here and her assistant worked tirelessly with our ginormous, aggressive dog to try to save his life. He was too big for a crate there, so they set up a mattress and blankets in the shower stall for him. Even after he was discharged, they called multiple times a day to discuss how he was doing. And when he took a serious turn for the worse, which we knew was a possibility given his serious condition, they dedicated significant time to talking us through our options over the phone and providing incredible personal support. It was crystal clear that they cared about our beloved dog, as well as our family. I've had dogs for decades and seen many vets across Long Island, and have never experienced this level of care for our pet or for us as a family before. We will always be grateful for their attention, dedication and care.
